Would like to know what kinda wood my guitar is made from and around what year it was produced on the head stock it says crate electra looks like a strat knock off thanks....

The website said "solid wood" but it didn't say what it actually was. Probably means that it changed according to what was available, or that it's a wood that they don't want to brag about for some reason.

Do you like it? If so, that's what really counts. Some "cheaper wood" or even "plywood" guitars can sound really good. :D

It's the combination of the feel, sound, and especially how it inspires you that makes for a "great" guitar! And I've owned enough to know that to be true!!!

yeah ive had it since i was 13 im 24 now ive played a lot of guitars and my old electra sounds and plays as good as a 500 dollar guitar ive added a dimebucker pick up im in the process of re doing it right now striping the paint to the wood work there is just nit alot of info on these guitars...
