I haven't been able to find much info about them -- I have a few general questions, if anyone can help.

- I know it's not an Uncle Mat, although most people I talk to assume it is. I've seen references to Kasuga and Fujigen, but nothing definitive. Did they just source the early Fender copies at multiple factories?

- I know the body is a laminate, but I'm curious about what wood they may have used.

- I mentioned earlier that I was surprised by the 1M pots. Were these standard? Or is it more likely that someone swapped them in?

- I tend to pick up a "good, not great" vibe about these guitars, especially compared to later models. How does the Forum generally view the early clones -- against the models they copied, and the broader Electra line? (You can be honest. I've already bonded with this thing.)

- Does anyone happen to know the original MSRP/street prices? Mine's a '73.
