Anyone have an outlaw bass? Electra needs one to model for a prototype. I don't have one any longer (used to have some, but sold them because I don't play bass).

The will offer some incentives and make it worth you your while. They will pay the shipping costs, they have lots of swag (T-shirts and so forth) and offer a deal you can't refuse on a new Electra.

These are not terribly common, but I know there are a few out there. I have owned 2 or 3 in my time myself, I just don't have one now or they would have it. I think it would be kind of cool to have Electra base their line of new guitars off of my guitar (if I had one).

Thanks for the post Thorny. We've got a couple lines in the water on one, but anyone who has one here could help speed up the process. This build will be for an endorsing bass artist coming on board. These would be interesting to put into production and also gives us a chance to do that in parallel.

It's stay with us would be relatively short, and we could reciprocate with something.

Thanks,
Gene

I have one with a busted headstock (got it that way). I would let it go cheap for a good cause. Heck you could just borrow it for some swag.

Glad to report we have an Outlaw Bass in our possession courtesy of one of our customers in Tampa. We have some Facebook fans and Twitter followers that want to follow the build, so we'll be sharing images as it progresses. Should be fun!

Hello Gene,

That would be mine, my name is Mike, pretty weird I just kinda showed up there.....fate?

I have known Ben for a little while when he was at Legends...worked on several of my basses. So one day I was like "lets' go see where Ben is" I met Mick mentioned I had an Outlaw Bass, and here we are.

You guys are really cool and nice guys....Mick is great, fixed a couple of input jacks for me.
It is cool to think my Outlaw could be like the begining (the dna) of a new line of Basses!

So, What kinda swag you got? If you make these into prodution, do I get one? Any other bass you got laying around would be fine too lol!!!!! :D I will play it out at dives across Tampa, Land O Lakes, Lutz, and parts unknown, hand out your buisness cards and stickers...I will even get an Electra tattoo! I can see it now!
IT'S EPIC.

Peace.

Hey Dr Greenthumb, thanks for joining us here on the forum. We'll figure something out. Especially if you get that tattoo ;)
