I just picked up a crate Electra standard LP copy, no identifying numbers or stickers. it's black. when and where were these made? I paid $90.00 for it and it plays alright, but I really know nothing, and can't find info.

I remember seeing some Crate amp adds in 86' or 87' In the guitar mags. Dont have a date on the Crate electra guitar.

The Crate Electras was the much more recent - not sure but probably in the 2000s. I think they are chinese, not familiar with all of the models. They could be korean - which would probably be better. It was the last use of the electra name prior to the new Electra guitars ran by Ben Chafin and Co in 2013.
