I am a rookie, help. serial number of my 310 mpc is 16413, was this built in 1981? IF not, when? Thanks. BP

It looks like that number might have been off of a foil tag. These foil tags are useless for dating your Electra. Take a look at this topic: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7761

You will have to look at other clues to date your x310. (i.e. headstock shape, possible dates inside the MPC area, etc.)

Check the edge card connectors where the modules plug in they have a date stamped on them
