I have an Electra guitar I am trying to sell. If someone could tell me what it is worth I would be very grateful.
It has a brass plate on the head that says X135 and #0440. It's in good playable condition, the color is like an electric blue with a black pick guard.

It sounds like you have an anniversary model X135P (Metallic Purple). These vary in price from $100.00 to about $250.00 depending on condition and original pieces, etc. Have you put it up for sale anywhere yet? You may find someone here who might purchase it from you, and then you know it would go to a good home. One of our members has collected 11 of the anniversary models, but he is always looking for more.

Could you post more about the condition, what general area you are located, and as always some pictures would help.

Show us a pic, myself or someone else may be interested. If you can't post a pic, email me at sirchadwick1 at hotmail.

Not purple, it's blue. I would post a picture if I could figure it out :toopid:
All original, has some wear but not beat up. Oh, and the previous owner put a sticker on the pickguard :eek2:

If it is blue like the x145B that is in this picture, http://www.indysworld.com/guitars/Elect ... rkle-1.jpg

It would be the first one we have seen of the 2 pickup x135 Anniversary models in that color. The colors that we know about on the x135's are Champagne Gold, Metallic Purple, Metallic Green, Metallic Brown and Metallic Silver. We do know that the Metallic Blue was offered on the Anniversary x145, so it might be an original color that we did not know about.
