so here is my attempt to post pictures.the vintage guitar posted is 1 that I have just purchased and the story is the guy bought it back in 1982 from the original owner.he had posted a few guitars on c/l wanting to thin some of his collection of guitars .so it is a 2245 super rock according to him.got it today 1/22/2016 and it is in really good shape and sounds superb.any thing not original is the tuners which he replaced with grovers I like the vintage look they have.upon looking through the index of models I don't actually see the 2245 super rock with this type of headstock is this the open book headstock ? he said that the guitar was probally made in the early 70s ?? the picture of the black electra in the photo next to the 2245 is a omega I have recently bought also.it is supposed to be the 2nd electra omega that was sold in the usa the first one being sold to the sellers good friend.he had said that he knew ben and got the guitar through him .hmm that's the story I got.the omega serial # is my13020028...that guitar plays itself love everthing about it.would like to know anything about the 2245 that anyone can help me with and maybe something about the serial # on the omega.hope the pics come through if not please let me know.having said all this I think maybe I have become full of g.a.s. keep rocking [img][img][img][/img][/img][/img]

The 2245 was one of the longest continually produced model Electra ever marketed, and came with every conceivable headstock. There's no better collection of photos here at McB's website:
