The Electra Forums

I know the forums are just about dead, and I myself have been more or less inactive over the last ten years; but I thought you guys might get a kick out of one of my projects from a while back.

I found the body at my favorite local shop with an incorrectly installed Memphis strat neck. It didn't look half bad, though, and got the gears turning in my head. I knew what the body was right away and couldn't grab it quickly enough. As it turned out the store owner also had the original hardware and electronics, so I grabbed it all for $20. A few months later one of my own customers gave me a poorly reliced Fender neck (with a wonderful V neck profile) and I knew exactly what I wanted to do. It has since become one of my main players, and it sure gets a lot of interest anywhere it goes!
