I have an Electra Strat copy. A buddy of mine gave it to me a few years ago. He got it used from a local music shop for $25 and didn't play it so he said "here...you take it". I very recently found one identical to it on ebay. Come to find out, it's a 2275N. Anyway...dude on eBay has a starting bid of $400!!! Is this right?! Can it be!?

I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on this thing for me. What's it worth? When was it made (in the 70s, I think)? Etc. I would just kinda like to know what exactly I have...that's all.

You're probably right. I don't think $399 is the right starting bid for this guitar. It may very well be a decent guitar, but I'd be surprised if the winning bid was that high, let alone the first bid.

I would expect it to go for $250, tops, especially without the case, etc. Someone else may have a different opinion.

That's about what I was thinking. $400 is WAAAAAAAAAAY too much for it. Even $250 is pretty high, I think. It's an ok guitar, but I don't think it's worth more than $50, really...besides...the guitar shop was selling it for $25...if it really is worth $250, I'd be stoked...lol
