I purchased a guitar probably made in the early 70's and is made to look just like the rickenbacker 4 string bass guitar. Its not made too well but looks good. Anyone know if these are sought after collectables and what they could be worth?I haven't yet figured out how to put pics on here yet . If you want I can email you some. thanks Dave

I used to have a bunch of R-I-C copies....
quality varies greatly on them. There is a market for them, but the R-I-C legal "team" is always watching for them due to trademark law....

there are a few good posts on here about them as well...

please send pics to "the brat guy" w/o spaces at hotmail.com and I'll see if I can tell anything from the pics....
