Was this the one on CraigsList recently? A few of us saw this and because of the weak photographs couldn't make heads or tails out of it, and assumed that it was a Electa or Electar! It certainly is a rare bird, and possibly a PCM (Pacific Coast Music) offering as opposed to the better documented SLM (St. Louis Music) models. I've never seen one, maybe X189 Player could chime in with his wisdom. As far as dating, pre 1975 would be the best guess. Nice find and welcome to the Forum, Mike.

I think it's probably a very early 70-72 SLM model...

here's some other makers for reference....
Here's a '73 Greco

and a Westone...

The Westone Session II is an 80s model though.

I know, but it was at least close as far as the tail piece, and other things....

The 73 Greco is real close,
By the way I just put a rosewood bridge and intonenated the guitar, plays perfectly in tune. That's what I 'm talking about.
Thanks for all the support, you have a great forum and I'll be sticking around for a while. Thanks

Welcome to the forums.....that is indeed a rare one. In all my searches, that one on Craigslist is the first of this type Electra I've ever seen. I could be very well mistaken, and for reasons unexplained....I believe it's a PCM guitar also.

The only thing I don't like about this era Electra is the dang logo. Goofy lookin to me.

X189player calls it the "Round E" logo, but I too call it the Goofy Logo!! I don't know, it reminds me of a kids book font or something. Ah well, what are you gonna do?
