http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Electra ... 3a7785d4ee This one is not like any I remember seeing. Refinish? PCM? Thoughts?

It looks like a much later Korean built model-tells are the globe sticker on back of headstock and the "TLP_"sticker on the neck plate. Every early '80's Korean guitar I've owned have had these. As far as the model,I've not seen another-and pricey for what it is.
That headstock is almost identical to the Korean Antares guitars.

If it was a later model Korean, how did they get away with selling them in the USA after the lawsuit?

Headstock was different enough that it didn't warrant concern-only "lawsuit"was between Norlin(Gibson) and Hoshino(Ibanez),and was dropped before going to court,no other manufacturer involved-at least not directly.

Here's a pic of an Antares headstock from an LP copy I had in my neck bucket, you see the resemblance......

The points and corners are wore off,but you get the idea-although I've never seen a Korean Electra that didn't have Crate somewhere.......hhhhmmmmm

Didn't the (Korean made) Hondos have a similar headstock shape also? I agree that it looks a little new to be a classic era Electra.
