it's Pearl White like the X635PW, controls are exactly alike, and the back looks exactly alike.
But the x635's only has a P pickup (along with x630 and x700 futura) The x640, x650, and x695 all got the J-P pickup config, but more controls too...

x635pw with added pickup without mucking up the original finish? I wouldn't want to tackle that job...

since I didn't find a pic of the headstock, I thought maybe it was a full Westone branded one, but in '85 they went to the large cover HB sized magnabass pickups...

You have to figure they'd put a selector switch on a guitar with two pickups... or at least a third knob so each pickup would have its own volume. If the J pickup was added, it looks like a great job from this angle. I'd wager it is a modified X635.
