I don't know if this is a real Electra or not. I can't find a model or serial number.

Yes it is an Electra and most likely an early model from the look of that logo maybe a PCM(pacific Coast Music) which was the brother company on the West Coast to St Loius Music on the East Coast. Nice Bass Congrats

Thanks. He needs to sell it. Any idea how much it's worth?

Would need to see a few mor detailed photos to be certain but if all is original and in working order and noe neck issues etc I would guess on a good day in the range of $150-$250 depends on the number of interested buyers as do most auctions etc. Good Luck but if it was mine I would keep it.
