Hello, I'm new here, and my dad has an LP like the all maple looking one with the carved vines on top that's on this catalog:

I can't find it anywhere, or maybe I just overlooked it. Anyone know what it is??

Overlooked, yes. And I guess "we knew this model existed" but somehow it escaped getting a page on the original Electra Site. The top carving is much like that on the 2247 SG style.

Well, let's create a page for it. Yours is a great example of it. Do we know what the model number was? Yours doesn't by any remote chance have a little metallic tag on the back of the headstock bearing the model number and serial, does it?

looks to me like a 2258 super magnum... page 12 and 13 of the 77 catalog i submitted... although this one is likely a 76 with the open book headstock

Model number no, serial number 23730. Yes, I see that catalog now. Thanks for all the quick info, guys!! 8)
