I have a hollow body electra guitar with a whammy bar. It looks just like the elvin bishop model with the exception of the whammy bar and it has a different neck. It has the Gibson style headstock with mother of pearl inlay. Electra is written like I have never seen on any other headstock. It has a 3 piece neck, flamed maple back, neck plate says made in japan 0154277. It is a tobacco sunburst finish with rectangular abalone inlays in the neck. Any idea which model this is and what it is worth??? I will send pictures if anyone would like to see it. Thanks in advance.

It looks very similar to this guitar with the above mentioned differences

I'd like to see pics of yours, especially the logo and the neckplate. Does it have Hoshino-style serial number starting with a letter and then 76 or 77?

This is the guitar!

It's a 2229 super professional
has the Gibson head stock
anyone know an approx value of this guitar and if these were made any other year then 1972?
