my father gave me his electra lp style and im curious as to the year and model.its solid white,with what looks to be maple fretboard and has pearl squares for fret markers and gold hardware the headstock has 2 triangles 1 inverted and 1rightside up to form a diamond and the plate on the back reads 5435 MADE IN JAPAN. with the open book looking headstock.using your guide i didnt find one that looks close.

I would guess that it is a 2264 White Zephyr. Although the one pictured on this site does not exactly match your descritpion, details changed from run to run. The 2264n has the block inlays you described. Both of the models pictured have the open book design but not the diamond. In the 70's Electra headstocks changed, evolving into the wave shape.

Pics would be nice.
