The Electra Forums

When I saw this the bridge caught my eye-it's not an Electra,but it is an early Japanese copy. Neck appears to be one piece mahogany with a zero fret,slightly chunkier than the Electras,neck pickup is on the hot side-don't know if bridge pickup is stock,it's an old swap if it was-all pickups and body are the exact same shade of creamy yellow/white,so who knows? It looks like it's a ply body,1 1/2 " thick,exact same bridge as Electras,V and T stamped in top of knobs. Any thoughts?

I agree that it is very similar to the early Electra Tele's... down to the output jack on the control plate (a pretty rare occurrence, when I see that I think Electra) also only has fret markers to the 17th fret. Not certain about the pickguard as it the single coil instead of a Humbucker at the neck position. Good eye Joe, where'd you see it? Mike.
