I just scored my first Electra and would love to get as much information on it as I can. It was pretty foul so I just stripped it down without playing it. (it was just too nasty) I'd love to know anything and everything like year, manufacturer, general opinions of the parts, pickups, etc. (I'll form my own once I get it back together)

Here is what I know about it:

*Neck plate simply reads "Made in Japan"
*Didn't see any serial number

I have too many projects!

Not a stock paint job for certain. This is one of the earlier model strats as it has the leaf style truss rod cover and early logo. It is a guess at best to determine the manufacture dates on these as there is no serial number etc. I would guess with the pups it has it is early to mid 70's manufacture. The electronics and pups look original as does the other hardware. These were solid guitars and were very much like the early Ibanez models and played very nice indeed. Will be a nice one when you get it cleaned up and a good setup on it. Congrats on a good score.
