The only serial # is CH005944 on the neckplate.

I have no idea how old it is or what it would be worth to sell it.?

I've looked through lots of Electra basses and I see the same type logo but I never see any serial numbers or models that are like this. Any help appreciated. thank you!

It looks close to a PCM mid 80's bass. Look at the headstock pictures down near the bottom of this page that our forum member McBrat hosts. http://www.indysworld.com/guitars/Electra/headstocks/

I see the same shape but painted differently. If it is a late 80's PCM it was most likely not made in Japan. (Korea/China)

agreed. it's either or 80's or 90's offering by an unknown distributor... we generally categorize any non-Saint Louis Music (SLM) offereings as SLM, but we really only know forusre that Pacific Coast Music (PCM) had offerings in the late 60's/early 70s' at the same time SLM started offereing that brand name... (SLM and PCM were seperate companies owned by brothers....) al we really know for sure was that a new group of Electras started showing up in the 80's that were not up to the standards at the time for SLM, so they slowly phases away from the brand...
