Hi, I have a great playing x410 but am looking for a little more bite/bark. The stock PUP's just seem weak, similar to the ones in an Omega that I replaced with SD Pearly Gates.

I really like the way single coils cut and am thinking of dropping some humbucking sized P90's like the SD Phat Cats or Gibson P94's.
Has anybody done this or heard the result of this type of setup, and if so what did you think of the result. I am also open to suggestions of other humbucking sized p90's that may be worth looking into.

Also any tips on rewiring an f-holed semi-hollow body would be appreciated. This sure ain't no solid body where everything is easy to get to.

thanks!
GoDog

Can't say on the pickup recommendations, but I'm eager to hear what others think.

The only trick I know when rewiring a hollowbody is that the hard part is pulling the pots outwards through their holes. (well, the same is true for jack and switch). The trick is to feed string in through the holes and grab it through the pickup cutout. Then tie it to the pot and pull them back through.
