Well, I sure hope I did not step in it this time. In a moment of mental weakness I made an offer on the X330 (Tabaco sunburst) that was on fee-bay and it was accepted. The problem is that one of the MPC is missing and so is part of the connection wiring and clips. here is the link.

so, how hard will this be to fix? also do any of you have an MPC that you will sell?

oh - also what do you think of the finish" I thought that X330 were cherry sunburst.

It looks like all that's missing is the module connector from the picture-check the mpc wiring diagrams on the forum to confirm when you get it. If that's all,PM me and I'll send you a connector.

wow so that is good news - thanks. btw - I see there is an ebay for three mcp mods - I only need one so if any of you are interested in the other two let me know and maybe we can go in on it together.

What module are you looking for?

I am not sure because I am very new to this and have never played an MPC. My guitar will be coming with a phase module and I do not know what would go good as a combination. Suggestions are of course welcome.

btw - are my eyes playing games with me or is the finish of the one I am expecting (please see above link) different that the typical cherry sunburst that the x330 is associated with?

I think a power over drive is great there is a slight loss of volume on most of the effects so that's a great one to add a little more volume or increase your volume for a lead passage. If you really like it thorny modifies these to add more gain and volume
