I have a nice X165 that I am putting in a pair of the Steve Lukather endorsement pickups from dimarzio - the transition model pickups. I put them in and so far so good. I wired them exactly the same as the factory - one tone has a push/pull that is the single coil switch, and the other is a phase switch. Works great.
