Keep an eye on e-bong. I have picked up four over the last few years and never spend more than $20. My best buy was $9.50 for a pair :D They rarely are identified as MMK 45's in the description but if they include a picture you can see the stamp.

Ok......next question in the loooooong line of em......... For the X185, I have 3 control spaces. So is it 1 vol and 2 tones, or 2 vols and a master tone?
Thanks again everyone for the help on this, it's made this project easier.

V-T-T, and they're all pull pots; V = coil tap, T1 = centre on and V2 = phase reverse.

This is about all there is on the X185...

but the Westone.info site is worth a look as the Westone H/S/H Spectrums were, for all intents and purposes the same guitar, just better appointed. Here's a wiring diagram for one of the Westones....

...and this is the Westone equivalent of the X185; I actually have this model and will help as much as I can...

Good luck, bro...

John

Lol Good Lord John! I'll have to start paying you a consulting fee! :D Thanks for the wiring diagram. I was planning on doing a push/pull to include the mid p'up, but seeing the diagram for the Spectrum.........I can do that (and will). Still trying to find some MMK45s, but if not, I have some alternatives set and will install them first......if I find some MMKs, I'll pop them in after the fact.
