Where do you pull the wiring out from..? I should have posted a pick going the other direction as there is a sizable space on the treble side of the pickup routes, so I'm assuming that's where they pass through... but I can't figure out how they come out with both pickup leads? Maybe the Neck pickup has a really long lead? I've fished a selector switch out of a F hole before, but that was pretty simple, because it was really close to the wide part of the 'F', and could position it just using my fingers.

I've heard of people using fishing line tied to the pots, never thought of surgical tubing before... better hope it doesn't slip off! Tell your nephew I said CHEE! Good luck, Mike.

on both of my slim hollows, I used the fishing line trick... for reinstallation of the pots.
everything went in via the pup holes....

my 2229 had the harness soldered into a group with the braided covers which made installtion a bit trickier... so if you use tubing, be sure to put it on all pots to pull out together, and replace them one at a time... bad stuff happens when the lines get crossed.... :)
