I just purchased a 1984 Phoenix Bass with P and J pickups. I am trying to determine exactly what each switch and knob does. There are three knobs, one seems to be a master volume and the other two some kind of EQ. There are also two toggle switches, one is a three way and the other a two way. I assume the three way is a pickup selector but have no idea what the small switch does other than quiets the bass and seems to remove bass and increase treble. Anyone familiar with these basses and controls? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
