this time one of the cold covered humbuckers from the Electra LP short scale bass I just got off the 'bay.

same deal. had to unwrap the gooey tape and expose the windings/lead connections, and found the windings wire snapped. wrapped the good end around the lead wire, and rubbed it a few times with the soldering iron, and presto magic, it's back!

both pups measure out at about 7.95k
