Hi there - I just bought a X149, and it is terrific. I am wondering if this model will fit in a standard Fender hard case.

Yes, any Electra Phoenix will fit in a strat case. the upper horns are slightly smaller than a strat.

Nice work, an X149 is a cool and somewhat rare guitar!

Thank for the info. I was in the market for an Ibanez Musician, found this instead, and I was extremely surprised how much I liked it, and after some consideration, decided to get it. Paid $275 - good price? The body has some issues, but the neck is great, and I had the electronics cleaned, and I had coil taps added to both pick-ups (so now it looks like an X150). I will post a picture if I am able. Thanks again.
