I've got this sunburst X350 model that's been pretty well worked over. It had the "varitone type" switch removed at some point in its life and worst of all, the original pickups had the wires cut flush to the main body of the pickup!

So here's what I'm hoping to get some help with...

In place of the original pickups, I've got some standard 2 wire humbuckers and I want to install a 3 way switch.

The wiring from the modules to their respective pots are where they need to be (based on schematics from http://www.rivercityamps.com/electra). But from there, it gets ugly. Any ideas on where I can get a schematic that would fit the configuation of the type I would like to have?

I also saw on rivercity amps the schematic with the 3 way switch and coil tap, but I'd rather not do the coil tap. Any thoughts/ideas would be great!

Trust me, you'd do better with coil tap and no guesswork.
Plus having a working feature like that will help you sell it if ever you are possessed to do so.

Except for the lead off to the effects module I think you are looking for a standard LP type wiring. Try this site.

Your pickups may not be dead. If the lead wires are intact inside the casing you can open them up and solder new leads. I did this on an MMK45 tha I got as junk for $5 . If it has a metal case it may be solderred closed which can be a pain but carefull aplication of heat can get it open. In your case, you have nothing to loose. If it works, you can replace the switch (try stewmac) and return it to the original wiring.

I'll try to get those pickups working again. They're not dead, just extrememly short (to the cover) cut wire.

As for the switch, I'll probably save myself some asprin and go with the 3-way. I'll start looking for a good coil tap as well.
