http://www.westone.info/spares/index.html

I just put one in my x-150 beater and it works as it should. In the age of racks and amp sims, this is still a fun toy.

David over at Westone Spares was super helpful and very knowledgeable.

Here is what Keiran Wynyard wrote me back with (several months ago.)

I am sorry to say, David has moved on from hosting and dealing with the
Westone site. I have inherited it, but I am a web developer, not a guitar
tech or electronics expert like David is. I own two Westone guitars, and
play them, but that is as far as it goes.

David also, did not give me a forwarding email address, so I have no way of
contacting him. There may be someone on the Westone forum who may know how
to get in contact with him, or help you out. There is a link to the forum
address on the westone.info site.

Thanks
Keiran

Yeah it seems David and his pool of knowledge just up and skedaddled. The body of his work is archived at the Westone Forums "parent" site here....

http://www.westoneguitars.net

...but I do not think it really gets that much use any more as it is just a historical archive and is not being maintained or updated. No matter.

That link will get you to the real gem which is an actively updated and maintained wealth of information on Westone guitars by one if the Forum's most active members, Barry. The Forum itself is a very good source for Westone (naturally) but also Electra as well as other Uncle Mats brands pop up there as well from time to time.

Our friend Corsair here is the moderator over there. He also has had more than a couple of dealings with David Blair and may know more about his whereabouts if you might chance a PM his way.
