I bought a really abused one from the bay a few days ago. I got the black spray paint mostly off of it, but it's missing everything. It's the white model, and I'm hoping to save the finish, but we'll see how that goes. I don't mind if it ends up a little ugly.

I can make a neck from one of those paddle blanks, until I find the right one, and I can install some pickups that I already have laying around until I can get some better ones.
The pickups I have are two lead, so no coil tap for the initial assembly, but I'll be trying to remedy that as soon as I find pickups.

Does anyone care to share a picture of the wiring with me. I can figure out the coil tap thing (probably) but it would go easier if I could see how the thing was originally wired.

I still need to buy a ton of parts, so I'm not going to have it working any time soon.
I'll try to get pictures of it as it comes along if you all want to see them.

It's not the nicest Futura by a long shot, but it was cheap, and I needed something new to play with.

I am about to work on my Pearl White Futura wiring also. The previous owner of my model replaced the push pull tone pots with non push pulls. Forum member whogrinz sent me these pictures.

If anyone has the wiring diagram for this model (or similar model/x155 etc), let me know.

Awesome. Thanks a lot.

I need all the help I can get on this one.
I usually start with more guitar than this.

I do like the body style though.

The Futura has the same wiring setup that the Endorser, X155 and other Electra Models. Here is a great diagram, or you can surf their site for DOZENS of other wiring options:

You need to "Read between the lines" with their schematic as they don't use any wire colors and they orient the push pulls on the Volume Pot. Good luck, I saw that auction and would like to see that one live again, leave the scars Comrade!

Don't worry. I'm not repainting it.

It's beat up, but it earned those scars over the years. I just want it without the spray paint. I might use a bit of rubbing compound on it though to bring up the shine.
