:x I have an x330 have had about 6 years also owned on back in 7x sweet guitar , just bought a new amp and fender a/e cutaway decided to use some effects and began by replacing the 9 volt batt as the pickups only produce sound when both switches in the up positions --- upon further investigation I found the ground lead disconnected from the battery pad to wherever it was grounded --- question is if the schematic mpc 2 would be correct for use as a guide for reconnecting the ground wire as shown ? eyes not as good as they once where but want my effects so I can rip out some skynard /vaughn /clapton etc can anyone advise if this diagram will serve as a guide fro the x330 Thanx in adavnce for your replies

Yes they should work. That is a common problem with lots of the MPC models as the battery connector is the weak spot.

:) Thanx, I am going to take it to a local shop with data I got from this site and have them re-solder it and fix a toggle switch plastic tip I broke. I have loved this guitar and its cousin I had back in 77-78 played a lot of Sg's Les Paule over the years this guitar still ranks up there with the best IMHO !

Yea, A few years back I lost the effects and did all the normal things, cleaning cards and slots, checking toggles and had even put in a new battery. The black wire was pulled loose inside the battery plug cover. Didnt catch that the first time. It was a simple fix and I was back in the groove.
