Just got an x350 and found that my flanger will not work in it. It works perfectly in my Outlaw. Both of my phase shifters and over drives also work perfectly in both the x350 and outlaw.
also another module that worked in the Outlaw would not work in the one module socket but did work intermittently in the other socket of the x350. After removing that module both the overdrive and phase shifter worked perfectly as before.
mystery indeed. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Try cleaning the edge connectors on the actual connection ports and see if that helps. Also check and make certain none of the port slots are bent etc. Hope that helps.

I did clean it well and actually examined thr connectors with a flashlight and dental tool. They are perfect and the Overdrive and Phase Shifter work perfectly. I tried two tank tones in it tonight and they also worked perfectly. ?????

Just for grins, make sure you have a fresh new battery to try it out. Also, make certain the pots have not shifted to touch anything they should not be touching, like the edge of a grounded side of the compartment. Shoot deoxit in the connector and insert and remove a working module several times to loosen any dirt. Clean the contacts on the Flanger with an eraser, should be shiny. See if any of the edge connector contacts look worn or dented. Look inside of the non-working connector to see if anything looks wrong or bent.

Good luck.

Yeah have a new battery in. Nothing seems to be shorting anything out inside cavity. I even checked the shielding to make sure it isn't causing problems. I will try the eraser trick next but it doesn't make sence that a module will work in one guitar and not another yet other modules work fine in the x350. I believe it is something simple. Thanks.
