Greetings! I'm happy to be joining the forum.

Working on a friends Electra X320 that someone really hacked up electronically. At first blush, the leads to the battery were broken so I have resoldered. All is working as far as the two modules but I noticed that the 5-way was doing nothing. Took a look at the switch and the neck pup is wired to the switch only, no bridge pup wiring and no switch output wiring. Bridge pup is wired directly to the rest of the electronics. So, if I am looking at all of the diagrams correctly and understand this, I need to rewire bridge pup to switch, verify neck pup connections at switch, run new output wiring from switch to appropriate connections elsewhere. Is that about right so far? Thanks, Steve

Welcome and good luck with the repair. If you do a search I am pretty sure that the wiring diagram for this has been posted (probably one of the stickies).

My guess is that the bridge pickup is not stock. Someone probably went to replace the bridge pickup and either the wiring wasn't long enough to reach the rotary switch, or they didn't know how to connect it. So they just bypassed the pickup selector.
