Hello -

Does anyone know of a source for a replacement Long Necker bridge pickup?

Just scored a pretty beat up one off of ebay - it should be a sweet bass once it's been given a proper set up, etc., but the bridge pickup appears to be dead.

An original would be nice; but if that's not possible, anything that might fit would be acceptable. I'm looking into having this one repaired, but it seems like the back is sealed and have no idea if it can even be opened up without damaging it beyond repair.

Actually, I think a cheapie mini hum would fit. Check feebay.
And yes, you could probably open it up, and check the wires. Odds are though,. it's dead.
