This is almost certainly an 85 or 86 Westone Spectrum ST, like these:

...till some numbskull sanded the headstock bare and coated it badly with poly varnish.

But despite these homely details, it's doubtless a great player, and woudl make somebody a great project- quick fix & good results. The ST had master volume & tone, 3-way, and a pull-switch for coil tap, making it quite versatile. If the homely headstock scares away the collectors, somebody might be able to nab it for a good price.
