I have just listed my X145 in Blue Mirror Flake on eBay. It was featured on one of the Electra websites. I believe this is the new version of the site.

Thanks,

Mm... that's a beauty! An 83, yes?

It is featured in the Electra website, which is back up. Here's your guitar:

Yeah after reading thru some info on this site 83 sounds more like it. It was a tough decision to sell this guitar. It plays very well and I just put a good amount of $ into it getting it tuned up. Look for my X155 to come up for sale soon as well.

Thanks for the compliments. And thanks to the site for letting me list my item.

Darren

Sorry, you're right, the anniversary editions were 82.

What's confusing about these is that some anniversary editions (like your blue one) don't seem to have serial numbers, while others (X135 for example) do. In the meantime SLM put those wacky plaques on the back which have another 4-digit serial number. However the plaque numbers seem to just be sequential for the anniversary models, and not a way of reading date. Your green X135's serial nubmer shows it was built in December of 81, jsut in time for 82!

The anniversary edition X135's and X145's are a puzzle to me, because they look like they should have been X130's and X140's. If they were, then X130's and X140's would all have pickguards, and the X135's and X145's would not. But those anniversary metalflake guitars break the pattern completely. Very odd.
