Hey Guys, slightly modified X330 available locally with 2 modules (Power Overdrive and Phaser (standard modules)) and hard shell case for $300. Fair price, but I've never played one, so I'm hoping you characters can talk me in to or out of it!! I don't like chunky necks or heavy guitars, and even with the five way, I don't think you can get single coil tones with the MPC's. Has a mild flame top and some road rash, nothing too bad, or distinctive for that matter.

I really don't need another axe right now, but I was paying more than $300 a month to heat my place not too long ago and that money is long gone, so everything is relative I guess. I've been lucky in that all my Electra 'finds' have been 100% straight originals, so this would be different for me in a couple ways... what say you? thanks, Mike.

I would say go for it; an X330 in that shape sounds like an investment;

Then again you could always turn it later if you needed to.

My X330 is heavy, has a chunky neck, and isn't much for the single coil tone;

On the other hand it plays really well with great action,

and it has an on board Thorny modified MPC5 Power Overdrive module;

I wouldn't take for it.

I think I'm going to pass on this one, so I'm posting his ad here, seemed like he may be willing to ship. I've talked with the seller a couple of times, he seems honest although not super familiar with the whole Electra background. I didn't see the guitar in person, but I have a feeling that the Vol/Tone pots have been changed or modded (because the knobs are different...) seller could not confirm or deny this. Other than that it looks pretty straight with two modules and a hard shell case, go crazy!

:up: I would go for it. I have a X330 that came with phaser and treb/bass expander and gig bag in good shape for $400 shipped. I love it to death and next to my X260N it is my favorite. It is a bit heavy but not as bad as a Gibson Paul and I like the neck. It has a chunky neck and is an older seventies model but with the treb/ bass i can get some good sounds that are very close to a single coil. If you like to have both the paul sound and a great single coil(strat sound) then the X260 or X260N are hard to beat since they both have the coil tap switch and a vol + 2 tones. Looks like a nice one however and should make someone very happy. Thanks for all your contributions and knowledge you share here everyone. 8)
