Some one snagged it for $70. The book matched maple plug looks to be flamming in the wrong direction to me. Other than that it looks like a good project, just dont have the cash at the moment.

I hate those stupid assed Kahlers! You have to totally butcher a guitar to install and it is never the same again.

Looks like the only option here is to turn it into a "Gold Top" or something.

+2 Kahler trems are just awful as far as I'm concerned and destruction of the guitar IS an installation requirement. Also, unless you are a top notch artist with wood the only real solution is a solid color to cover the repair. On the bright side somebody picked up a nice looking neck for $70--at least that would be my perspective if I was the buyer.
