I hope this price insanity stops soon. I have seen several electra models over $1000 now including some that were selling 30-60 days ago or less for $400 or less. Worries me as they MPC modules and guitars are all selling at these orbital price ranges. I am no guitar investor, I just enjoy playing a true quality, inexpensive guitar and that is what the electra brands were marketed for. To give the average musician and player a chance to have top quality and playability at an affordable price. Thats my take on this madness. I can't blame owners for selling while the prices are high but I can never seem to part with one as I enjoy them all too much. I put my interest in the variation of models and sounds offered and I am no businessman. Thats my opinion anyway. Good luck to the sellers.

I remember the 'Internet Bubble". That didn't work out too well for me. If the E-Bubble continues, some people will make a lot of money and others will pay way too much, and when the bubble bursts, they'll be trying to sell their guitars at unreasonably high prices to get their money back - good luck. I have no problem with a gradual rise in prices for Electra's - many are under valued - but fast upticks like this are nothing but trouble. Be careful out there people!

Oh Well, at least we finally found an absolute cure for EGAS. These prices will destroy any case of EGAS. Hope this all settles down soon.

Yeah I hear you guys. I am glad I got mine when I did. I got a X135B for $100 and a mint Westone Spectrum ST with the original case for $200. Not including shipping on those.

Those are good freeking deals.
