8) http://cgi.ebay.com/Electra-X135-Electr ... 43a536be6b
HH green anniversary model up on the Bay. I have the purple version and it plays great. The HH configuration has plenty of tone and power. Does this one belong to any of our forum members? Nice Axe

I was ready to move and then I looked at the auction more closely.

Chips, dings, corrosion on the headstock plate, and a cracked pickguard, for $475 shipped.

Yeah, I'd really like to own one, but this would set a new record for '81-'82 non-active Phoenixes and it isn't a record-setting guitar IMHO.

At $250-300 I've already sent payment.

Bid low, hope to win low, I think if this one stays low it will make a good players guitar. :look:  :look: Sharp eyes ther, I missed the pickguard crack etc. Oh well, gettin old I guess.

Just as a followup on this... I was the only bidder and cleared the auction at $202.50.

The seller charges $65 for "Premium Shipping". It must be soooo premium that it takes him nine days to pack the guitar. I just got shipping notification on this TODAY. I've had four Electras show up that I won or bought AFTER this one.

Sadly it seems that the shipping costs are going higher to compensate for the ebay fees, paypal fees, shipper fuel fees etc now so I hope it is a short trend. :bawl:

I'm working on a minor project in that regard... maybe offering 10-20 Electras at any given time with full pro setups and confirmation that everything works.

This is behind the other business I'm starting and the Electra book itself, so it is probably six months away unless I can find somebody who wants to set up the site before that.

That will be a major eye opener if that many Electras are available at any given time. My problem is that I love all mine to much. Good Luck and hope to see you at the fest in july. Arthur
