educate me, is this a decent price for the guitar? (not that I'd get it, but just curious)
If it is, good luck to anyone living in L.A.!

It's an OK price. Certainly an earlier model, which is cool, but as the listing states, there's no modules, and the original switch and pickups are gone....and from the pics, the original knobs have also been replaced. Also, no real statement of it's condition....

Personally, I think it's more in the $250-$300 range, but prices have definitely risen on our beloved little beasts recently....

I would have to see more photos of the MPC compartment and electronics to give a definitive price. The pickups are nice but not original and not certain on the control knobs. These are easy fixes if the MPC electronics have not been tampered with. It is an earlier year model as it has the pinapple truss rod cover and headstock shape. So long as it is not to damaged and dinged and the electronics are original and good I would agree that without a case or modules that this would be about the high price and I would ofeer somewhere along the $300-$325 range shipped. They are the harder to find finish so it would just boil down to how bad one wants this model. An original in good shape on the bat seems to go for around $500 or better now with modules and case.
