Don't know what to make of this one. Nice Electra Neck but I have not seen this particular body setup before. Any ideas? Is this just a electra neck on another Bass body? I like the neck.   :look: :look: :look:

I saw that one and thought the same... I've never seen an Electra bass (SLM) with thru the body strings... the Electra J-bass copies were pretty close to exact interchangeable with the real deals... especially the later ones with the peace sign logo necks... those were the best necks of the bunch....

You can see where the pickguard was removed. Looks like a longnecker with an unusual headstock and string through. The pickups look to be original but also different from the covered ones I see. So maybe this is some kind of transition bass. The string through looks similar to some of the Phoenix basses.

Maybe someone modded it and drilled the thru holes in body. It does resemble this one in a way without the pickguard.http://www.rivercityamps.com/electrapag ... 008-033329

That looks like (or at least similar to) the bridge on my friend's X635.
