This is the one with the set (glued) and bolt neck, made by Kasuga. the route for the neck pickup makes for an extremely weak area... as seen in my repair of a similar one here...

these are distinguished from the early bolt neck ones by the non full width inlays. The one I had had a black painted back, but this one is all natural. plus, if you take the neck screws out, it still won't come apart...

I've not seen a Cherry Burst transitional version.
