What model is this electra ?

Welcome aboard! That there is a 2254 - rather heavily modded apparently. The pickups look like replacements to me and the Gibson deluxe tuners are - well, not original. The knobs are also obviously replaced.

Welcome +2. Given what has been swapped out on this one (that is readily seen) i would personally rather play before paying on it. Who knows what else may have been changed inside...??

How do you even know if that is a 2254 anyway and not an Electra neck that has been bolted onto a ??? body?

Cavity covers on the backside I suppose?

That's a completely valid question - The control cavity covers and binding do appear to be proper for the model.

I also have a nagging recollection that I've been told either the neck pocket or the tenon (or something) on Electra's were slightly longer/shorter than usual. I'm not 100% on that but it's niggling at me. Maybe someone else knows????? Ozark?

I can say I don't recall ever seeing in person an Electra neck on a non-Electra body.
