I ran across this seller originally on a CL search and they have a private collection they purchased of over 300 guitars. Get used to seeing this seller for awhile. Already had to help him out as he had listed a Leslie West on an East Coast site somewhere but the guitar itself was an x280.

Fairly firm on prices when I spoke to him, but that was before they started using ebay.

He has been selling things on the Hudson Valley NY CL for a while. I have not posted about them as the prices have ranged from high to absurd. Also, as you mentioned he gets some major details wrong. Some of his guitars have been listed for well over a year without the price being changed. All of this has just given me bad feelings.

This one was also listed incorrectly and I sent him a note and he did correct the listing but his prices are over the top for certain. He is learning about the electra models and appreciates any help but when I addressed the prices he was firm on the ones listed so I expect to see them around for some time to come. This one is at best a player grade as it has multiple dings, chips, etc but it is still a Rock Strad.

They pop up on my NYC CL searches. If people want me to I will post them. just the prices and ignorance at those prices turned me off.

It isn't difficult to get a sense of attitude with the seller and that is putting it honestly. He seems to be learning of the values / interest in many of these as he goes.

I tried to get more info on the O'Hagen model(s) he said is in that collection. They were an extremely local boutique instrument from this area but he only said when he gets to it he would try to remember to drop me a line.
