I dropped by the iconic Gruhn's Guitars in Nashville today and noticed a nice X310 hanging for $700. Grumman's is best known for blue-chip vintage instruments but usually has some oddball pieces and player grade items. Even so, I was surprised to see any Electra there, especially an MPC model.

No fever for the MPC. Thought I might have developed a touch of the Gibson Firebird fever, but the cure was reading the price tag.

I've not looked at new gear for many, many years until I went looking for a pedal steel recently; now, THAT was sticker shock, eh!! :lol:

My renowned cheapness won't allow to look at new stuff but leads me to buy munted and unloved kit which I then spend a kings ransom on to restore and titivate... I think my wiring's busted!! :D
