Not at all, Mike. If I'm not mistaken the differences are pretty much in the resistance outputs as a rough rule and construction is fairly similar except for magnets as you have stated.

My wife's Pantera has MMK75's in it and the x350's were decked out the same for Westones. I think there is a fairly expansive thread on them over at the Mats forum. I will check on it and post a new thread in the technical section cross-linking it if I can find it.

Nomenclature changes by brand as well. In an Aria the MMK45 becomes a Hammer I if my memory serves.
