that's about right for price- it's a good guitar, I had one (made it a graduation present to my friend's son).

there are a couple colors, black for one. you can't go too far wrong, but don't feel like this is your only chance- 575's aren't so rare.

the tampering is a good point. Although original pickups aren't very pricey, it would be nice to have it in original order.

the pictures are terrible but it's red mahogany from the looks of it- much like the Electra and Greco Vees.

Looks good price is nice but I wish I knew more about the electronics...would hate to spend $250 and end up with a Panache V
