This one is an X185, most likely an 83. Champagne Gold is a fairly rare color and to my knoledge was offered that year only. And 83's always feel like they were made on a good day. But that's a higher price than I've seen paid for any Phoenix.

You said that right... I wasnt so unhappy with low prices, I like it that players can afford them, but as you say, low prices encourage the parts pirates... but not that one!

$650.00 is a bit on the high side to say the least.
I don't think he expects any bites. He's just testing the waters.

Heck, Xman and I got a couple of the top of the line Electra FX models for $200.

If somebody is determined they can find good deals if they do some homework.

That is a beautiful color tho.

There is always the explanation of someone who gets in trouble and needs to sell something... or put up a good show of trying. I have a friend who did that with a motorcycle... trouble was when someone came along and wrote a check for his number (which was triple the going price). He still regrets letting that one go.
